Installation Guidelines
Pre-Installation Requirements
  • Perform installation in a dry, dust-free, and clean environment
  • Ensure sealing chamber and seal components remain completely clean
  • Apply lubricant or coating to auxiliary sealing surfaces to minimize friction resistance
  • Use water or soapsuds instead of mineral oil or fat for rubber material seals
Spring Installation Notes
  • Observe spring coil direction: from back static ring to circle ring
  • Clockwise shaft rotation requires right-coiled spring
  • Counter-clockwise shaft rotation requires left-coiled spring
  • Ensure spring working height reaches specified fixing height per installation diagram
Important: Strictly avoid collision and knocking on seals during installation. Prevent impact on shaft, shaft cover, and sealing cover after installation to maintain seal integrity.
Startup Procedures After Installation
  • Completely evacuate all air from sealing chamber, especially for double-headed sealing with sealing cement
  • When restarting machine: open entry valve first, then switch on motor after medium fully enters chamber
  • For sedimentary mediums: rinse sediment from sealing gland, spring, and linking parts before restart
  • Manually check rotation shaft resistance for normal and uniform operation before startup
  • Ensure no blockage or unsmooth operation occurs
  • Fill hermetic compartment with medium and ensure proper lubrication before machine operation
Critical Warning: Dry friction is strictly forbidden as it may cause damage to air-tightness and seal failure.
