Preparation Requirements
  • Shaft outside diameter tolerance: ±0.05mm
  • Shaft run out: <0.1mm
  • Shaft end float: <0.13mm
  • No sharp edges on the shaft over the O-ring
Important Note
During installation, do not scratch or damage the O-ring. If any component is damaged, please contact us for replacement.
Installation Instructions
The complete cartridge seal is cleaned and thoroughly leak-tested before sale. To avoid damage, do not disassemble and clean parts again before installation.
Installation Steps:
  • The fitting allowance between seal and shaft is dl h6 0.8, with a leading edge at the shaft end
  • The shaft outside diameter at screw position should be 0.1-0.2mm smaller to prevent over-tightening
  • Lubricate the shaft with oil before installation
  • Place the cartridge seal into the pump chamber, then:
  1. Tighten four screw bolts of flanges, ensuring the medium leading hole "G" is at the top position
  2. Tighten four set screws to position the shaft sleeve on the shaft
  3. Remove four gauge plates (keep for future installation and disassembly)
  4. Connect the medium lead-in pipe with hole "G" to flush away friction heat and seal chamber during pump operation
Post-Installation Check:
After completing installation, turn the shaft by hand to check rotation. If the shaft does not rotate smoothly, the seal has been improperly installed.
